Nice friends

Last week we had over a few friends from the college. They brought their 2 kids, Gianna, who's 3, and Bruno, who is just 5 months old. It did not take Bino long to make friends. Within minutes, he was hugging Gianna and snuggling with the baby. He also really took up with Scott, and demanded quite a bit of attention from him. The night ended with Bino introducing Gianna to the "robot" (our Roomba) in the kitchen, and both kids chasing each other around and laughing hysterically. When they'd left, Bino informed us that Gianna was a "nice friend," and for the next two days he asked to go see her. We'll definitely have to get them together again soon.

First snow

Bino must not remember last year's snow, because when it started coming down for the first time this year, he was wondrous and ecstatic. When I told him that was snow coming down outside the window, he started saying "wanna take bath in the snow" over and over. He was even more excited once we got him outside and decided he would "clean the happy car" for us. We went for a short walk around the block and would have stayed out for hours if he'd had his way.

On the phone

Talking on the phone is one of Bino's favorite activities. He insists on calling Mimi, Tata, Yaya, or Tono almost daily. When a phone is not available, a banana will do. Here he is on the phone with Mimi one morning at breakfast.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was pretty quiet this year, as it was just the three of us once more. We had a nice day and a good meal, though. Bino especially liked the chocolate souffle. Look at that face!
