2

Today was Bino's second birthday.  We celebrated with a pancake breakfast this morning, then opened presents, then took our second trip to the New England Aquarium in Boston.  Bino has gotten into sharks lately thanks to bonding with Papa over some youtube videos and Jaws music, so he enjoyed watching them (and the tortoises and the jellyfish and the penguins and the seals) up close.   Here are a few photos from our day.   The ball and goal were one of his (and certainly Papa's) favorite presents.   The cute shark outfit came from Uncle James and Aunt Bridget.

Devereaux Beach

We took Bino to the beach a few times this past week since we've been having some beautiful weather here, and since the beach is just minutes away from our door.  Devereaux beach is rocky, and Bino loves gathering rocks and throwing them into the ocean.   He also likes running into the water and then trying to race the waves back to the shore.   There's a playground with swings and slides right on the sand (!!), so we spent quite a while there, too.  Bino had a blast, but complained about his "dirty feet" all the way home.

Good reads

Here's what happened when Bino discovered Papa had left his backpack open. He must have made at least a dozen trips back and forth bringing some of his favorite books to fill up any remaining space. I hope Papa appreciates the gesture.
